About Us
Kylie’s Wings, Inc., a new local nonprofit, was born from every parent’s worst nightmare, the loss of their daughter, 12 year old Kylie, in 2025 after her battle with depression. Rather than allowing unimaginable heartbreak to have the final word, we chose to honor Kylie’s memory by creating a lasting legacy of hope, compassion, and emotional support for children who may be struggling silently. Each Care Caddy is thoughtfully assembled with a variety of evidence-based coping tools
designed to help students regulate emotions, relieve stress, and practice healthy coping skills. Inside are sensory stickers, fidget rings, air-dry clay, breathing instruction cards, emotional support keychains, worry stones, journals, and other calming resources that encourage
mindfulness and emotional expression. Every item has a purpose. Every tool represents hope. Every Care Caddy says to a child, “You
matter.” The nonprofit is led by a dedicated volunteer board that includes Erica Duggan, Lisa Canavespe and Emily Bledsoe, and Leigh Duggan as digital manager, with countless hours of support generously provided by family members and friends who believe in the mission. Together, they are transforming personal tragedy into community healing. Our initial goal is to provide Klein ISD in Spring TX with a Care Caddy for each school before branching out to other school districts. How can you help Kylie’s Wings, Inc. achieve its mission? Financial donations directly fund the
creation of Care Caddies. Community members can also purchase requested items through the organization’s Amazon Wish List, helping stock Care Caddies with much-needed coping
resources, as well as restocking as necessary. Businesses can donate printing services for educational materials and breathing guides included in each Caddy.
